Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and BN1 Prospect College Recruiting ("BN1 Prospect College Recruiting," "we," "us"). They govern your use of our website and app. By creating an account or using BN1 Prospect College Recruiting, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use BN1 Prospect College Recruiting

You must be at least 13 years old.
If you are under 18, you may use BN1 Prospect College Recruiting only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. We may require a linked parent or guardian before college coaches can message you.
You must give accurate information, keep it up to date, use your own name and keep only one account for each role you hold.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account.

2. Coach accounts and verification

College coach accounts are only for current coaches or staff of the school and program you list. You must verify an official staff email or pass our manual review before you can message athletes.
High school and club coach accounts are only for people who actually coach or direct the team you list. We review these accounts before they can verify players' stats.
We may approve, reject, pause or revoke any coach account at our discretion. Verification means we checked an account's connection to a school or team. It is not an endorsement.

3. What BN1 Prospect College Recruiting is and isn't

BN1 Prospect College Recruiting is a platform that helps athletes, families and coaches find and contact each other. We are not a recruiting agent, scout or advisor. We are not affiliated with the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA or any school, conference or athletic association. We don't guarantee that anyone will view your profile or contact you, or that you will receive an offer, scholarship, admission or roster spot.

Every member is responsible for following the recruiting rules that apply to them, including rules on when and how college coaches may contact prospective student-athletes. Coaches are responsible for their own compliance.

4. Stats and profile information

Athletes are responsible for making sure their profiles, stats and film are accurate. A "verified" stat means the athlete's linked high school or club coach confirmed it. We don't independently check stats, so coaches should do their own evaluation.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post, including photos, film links, posts and messages. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display and share that content as needed to operate and improve BN1 Prospect College Recruiting, including showing it to other members as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must have the right to post everything you share. Program logos may be uploaded only by coaches authorized to use them for their program.
We may remove content that breaks these Terms or that we believe puts anyone at risk.

6. Rules of conduct

When you use BN1 Prospect College Recruiting, you agree not to:

harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or demean anyone, or post hateful content;
post or send sexual content, or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors;
try to get around parent or guardian approvals, blocks or other safety features, or move a conversation with a minor away from the platform to avoid them;
pretend to be someone else, misstate your school, team, role or age, or post stats you know are false;
send spam, advertise, or sell recruiting services without our written permission;
scrape, copy or collect other members' information, or interfere with, hack or overload the service;
break the law or help anyone else break these rules.

7. Safety, reports and enforcement

You can report members, posts or messages, and athletes can block college coaches. We may review reported content, including messages, and we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. We report suspected child exploitation to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with law enforcement when required.

8. Other sites and services

BN1 Prospect College Recruiting links to sites we don't control, such as video hosts. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using BN1 Prospect College Recruiting at any time and delete your account in Account settings, or by emailing cntc4@comcast.net. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or if needed to protect members or the service.

10. Disclaimers

BN1 Prospect College Recruiting is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that information posted by members is accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BN1 Prospect College Recruiting and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits or data, arising from your use of the service or from other members' conduct. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold BN1 Prospect College Recruiting harmless from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your content, your use of the service or your violation of these Terms or the law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

14. Premium subscriptions

Premium is an optional paid subscription for an athlete's account. It costs $25 per month or $199 per year, and the price is shown before you pay.
Premium renews automatically at the end of each month or year and is charged to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Premium, then Manage billing, and Premium stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
Payments aren't refundable except where the law requires. If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
If the athlete is under 18, a parent or guardian must make or approve the purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.
Premium doesn't change how verification, safety features or parent controls work, and it doesn't guarantee that any coach will contact you.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and notify members in the app before significant changes take effect. If you keep using BN1 Prospect College Recruiting after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
